Do you believe the 1964 civil rights act legislation was the result of pressure groups imposing PC positions?

When I listen to the arguments, I here others attempting to refine the definitions of laws to codify what should be public common sense. The breakdown of family and schooling, the fact that 48% voted for lying kerry suggests that today public common sense needs to be codified.

No doubt in the balance, some in ignorance will make stupid laws or attempt to create speech codes. But time will fix that also.

American law is about morality. Refining the definitions of that morality is good. 52% still did vote for our genius of leadership.
