Three London bombers visited Pakistan last year

KARACHI: Pakistani investigation agencies have dug out that three of the alleged London bombers had visited Pakistan last year and stayed for few days in Karachi.

According to the highly placed sources FIA Immigration and other intelligence agencies including Intelligence Bureau, Airport Security Force and other agencies were given task to check the record of the alleged suicide bombers.

The record collected from sophisticated Personal Information Secure Comparison & Evaluation System (PISCES) shows that Shahzad Tanveer carrying British Passport No. 453897014 came to Karachi on Nov. 19, 2004 by Turkish Airline Flight TK-1056. The flight landed at 3:30 pm at Karachi Airport.

Mohammed Siddiqui Khan having British Passport No. 040169095 also came by the same flight.

Both men stayed in Pakistan for about three months and went back to London by the Turkish Airlines Flight No. TK-1057 on Feb. 8, 2005.

The third alleged suicide bomber Hasib Hussain having British Passport No. 300514155 arrived four months earlier from Riyadh by Flight No. SV-714. However no record of his departure was found at Karachi airport and it is believed that he went back to London either from Lahore or from Islamabad.
