t has, actually. And I said it quite a few times in the past. And then I grew up.
So now you believe in God, the Virgin, Heaven's Gate, Koresh, and Xenu?

Along the way, I met quite a few people who are very intelligent and intellectual, AND harbor a belief in "God".
If you look at the quotes, they are PERCENTAGES and none of them are 100%.

When you singled out Tom Cruise with "You believe this crap [Scientology] and I'm supposed to believe you have the edge over a peanut in IQ?", I didn't realize you were extending the courtesy to every single believer of every religion, including, obviously, your own President :-)
Scientology, dearie, is even zingier than normal. Ever looked at it?

What about "Saying what he believes to be true"?
Why should I or anyone else believe he has any expertise other than play acting in front of a camera?

He holds the fate of stem cell research in the US in his hands.
Not entirely. I'm afraid you failed to pay attention. Such research is going on in California funded by California tax dollars. And private research is going on all across the country funded by private sources- -such as the Hughes Medical Foundation, the largest private source of research grants in the US.

I would think you should show slightly more reaction to Bush's religious nuttiness than Tom Cruise's.
You make the common liberal pretense of assuming I had a choice of Bush or anyone else in the country. Realistically, it was Bush or Kerry and you know it and I know it.
