Still loving my words and thank you very much.

I am sitting here wondering why the events of the last two days are affecting my balance and whether I should rejoice or look for the fortune in it.

Saturday night I was surfing the internet when I heard a noise behind me and turned around to see a huge raccoon eating out of my cat's bowl. It looked up at me eye to eye and then ran out the door I think to the attic door, which I found open when I got up to see where it went. I immediately woke my husband who went up and shut both doors in the attic. His hesitation being that this had happened before and he had tried to get the previous raccoon to go outside and it wouldn't and ran up the stairs to the Master Bathroom wherein my husband shut he and the raccoon up in there and the raccoon came at him in attack mode and he preceded to hit him with a golf club. He fell back into the bathtub attempting to hit him as many times as he could. In the end he killed the raccoon and the bathroom looked like a murder scene to me which it was. He weighed him and to his amazement he weighed 48 pounds. He ended up in a thirty gallon lawn bag and was put out to be picked up. I really don't want this raccoon to end up like the previous one as he was quite a beautiful specimen of that breed. Those huge brown eyes surrounded by the dark brown circles seem to be asking for help and I am such a nerd for animals, I felt sorry for him even though he had invaded the privacy of my home. At this point we have no idea how he attained entrance into our home. Trying to decide who to call or what we can do to get him outside so he can go on his way.

Sunday we woke up to no air conditioning and husband went to basement to check and found it flooded. The sump pump had stopped working. Called our A/C engineer, who came over with rubber boots in hand, and repaired the A/C and the pump and got all the water pumped out. Now wondering if it will all cost a fortune as that was one of my words, and wondering if words work that way. Help, Help!!!!!

Thanking God so far that Emily is apparently not coming our way and I have had enough trama for the present. If it changes its path someone might have the company of some very distressed Texans, namely me and my cats.... Will leave husband behind to take care of all the problems as I think he is good at that. That is my belief and I am sticking to it... "Have Cats will Travel" as they say.

All the cats have now come in to partake of the cat food today and no raccoon appearance. Hope he found his way out before other methods have to be taken. Rejoice, balance and fortune. Doing the best I can to be worthy of them.
