We're not forgetting the chimneys as we have two of them and that was what we suspected with the first one.

A few years ago we had them in between our garage walls and put lots of moth balls in there. Had mother and five babies. That ran them to the crawl space over the laundry room and after three boxes of moth balls she moved them and later found out she took them to neighbor next door. When he found them all were grown and he called a service who came out and put "have a heart traps" and caught most of them.

That is another story where I wanted to file charges of Animal Cruelty on a heart surgeon who baited a trap outside where cats could be caught too and one was. I spent a whole day trying to get help for the cat that was still alive after being caught in that awful trap that was supposed to kill them. Finally got help from the SPCA who sent out a young man who looked to weigh about 175-180#'s and very strong and he could not get the cat out by himself so I crawled up there and helped him. Took both of us to get him out while he was screaming. He took the cat to their Vet and called me and told me they had to put it to sleep. Oh that cat must have suffered in that awful trap. I saw it catch him and he flew up about three feet. I at first thought a snake had bit him until I climbed up on the fence and saw the chain to the trap and pulled it out of the leaves and saw the bucket with a dead baby possum in it....I was horrified that some one could be that cruel to the animal world. He eventually moved and we were very happy to see him go back to his own country. That was just really a mean thing to do, especially when a lot of cats came through our yards all the time. His attitude was just awful about the whole matter. I had the thought that this world does not need Doctors like that and wondered how he treated his patients. Heartless individual, I suspect.
