AEM has a US$143M convertible debenture, convertible @ US$14 per share. It is redeemable by the company in either cash or shares after Feb 15th 2006.... just six months to go !

What do you see as the likely "end-play" for CV hedgers here ? Are they likely to seize the current opportunity of covering their shorts at the current lower price ? Or are they more likely to wait to allow the debentures to be called ? (DB currently trading @ par)
