The rightwing has two sets of ethics: perfection required of Dems and nothing required of Republicans.

They have finally come to understand how depressingly inadequate they are so they resort to lying and intimidation to cover their shortfalls. That they are running this government likely means another Thomas in the offing.

Perhaps Bush feels too embattled for a lengthy and nasty SC fight but he's nothing if not thickheaded, stubborn and greedy.
