MORE ABUSE AT GITMO, Prisoner Has Hissy Fit, Throws Phone At Marine Guard

7/18/2005 - Gitmo, Cuba

Monday, July 18, 2005

A Taliban prisoner threw a phone at a Marine guard. An unnamed source has told Newsweek that Alibaba Awe Chit, a high ranking Taliban prisoner, pitched a hissy fit last month and threw his new picture phone at a Marine prison guard. The source said Ali apparently was late for his 4:00 p.m. facial due to the length of the afternoon movie the prisoners were watching. Ali, who claims "Cinderella Man" ran 15 minutes longer than advertised, was distraught about missing his facial and took it out on the Marine guard.

Lawyers for Ali were quick to point out that this is just another example of the rampant prisoner abuse permeating throughout the Guantanamo prison complex and vowed to get that reckless Marine SOB. A team of Doctors has been dispatched by Amnesty International to begin intense grief counseling sessions with Ali in an attempt to prevent him from harboring any ill will against the United States.

Meanwhile, the Marine, a decorated father of four, has been struck 25 times with a cane, restricted to barracks, demoted two grades, and put on bread and water while he attends sensitivity training. Democratic representatives have demanded a full-scale investigation into the manner and once again have called for the impeachment of President Bush.
