New ABC POLL: Only 25% support the WH on Rovegate, 75% saying the WH is not cooperating fully and that Rove should be fired. Also 53% of the country are now watching this story closely, unimaginable in the middle of summer. Rove's frat face is on the covers of Time and Newsweek now so this is only going to get bigger. Bottomline: What this is really all about is Bush-Cheney lying to take us into what is now a very unpopular and costly war. Other bottomline: Though the smearing of the heroic Wilson is is shameful, it is irrelevant. Even if the Wilsons were not 100% perfect it makes absolutely no diffference. Bush's top guy outed a CIA agent to a resporter. That's a crime. Plus Rove lied about it. That proves he and the WH cannot be trusted.
