Wearing hijab kills people? Oddly enough, the British suicide bombers were fully assimilated. Would Steyn argue that Sikhs, in turban and kirpan, are incipient murderers who must be assimilated? (Sounds like the Borg to me - "you will be assimilated.") My guess is no, Brits are proud of their Sikh warriors. Nor would he force Scotsmen to wear trousers if they'd rather wear kilts. Heck, chicken tikka masala is the "national dish of Great Britain." They've learned to love the individual members of the Empire, even though they don't have it anymore. Hating Muslim individuality is just a backlash. I don't like hijab, personally, but if the alternative is that the woman is forced to stay home, let her walk around. She needs the fresh air and the exercise. I grew up around nuns draped in black cloth from head to toe, I can handle it. Come to think of it, the Brits are not fond of nuns, either. Oh, well, that's a different story.

Remember Kevin Kline in the movie, "A Fish Called Wanda". "You Brits think you are so superior. If it weren't for the US of A, you would all be speaking fucking German. Deutch und Deutchland uber alles!!" Maybe we had start applying a preservationalist attitude towards the terrorists. We need to think about the preservation of free will in Europe and the US. At some point of this conflict, we are going to have to start radically containing Muslim influence which radically oppresses all aspects of human rights. If misery loves company, the Muslims have a hell of alot of misery to share. They are clinging to the traditions of religion that have not changed in 2000 years. Hijab, riba, jihad - traditions of oppression in order to avoid the wrath of God. I think the perception that the "Anglican Church is in a death spiral" as a sign of decay is wrong. Western society has been constructed to protect people from religion, which is inherently intolerant regardless of variety. People in Britain and the US are free to balance their religion with human rights. Although we may not be forced to Sunday sermons, I doubt that anyone has any less faith in God. Muslims are not free to make these kinds of decisions. There is no free will in the Islamic faith. In reality, all of the intolerance is to purify the Islamic faith. The real problem with Islam is that oppression has been so well preserved, there is almost no visibility for reform or progress. People with nothing that have absolutely no hope for anything can remain committed to the only thing that matters in their life, which is the oppression of their own religion. They have been convinced that human rights offend God in almost every way. Not a single commie left in today's world, just a billion Koran Klutching Killers. Meanwhile, we keep trying to convince ourselves that we can all just get along. How is that possible with Saudis funding the religious schools that teach this intolerance to all of their 8th grade schoolchildren? They want to remove all outside influence from their perfect societies that only accept Muslims. They don't want Westerners from spreading their influence, even if we are trying to help. They will only say that Westerners are infecting Islam, depicting Christians and Jews as monkeys and pigs. The purification of Islam is beginning to spread beyond the boundaries of Muslim countires. The intolerance and oppression is overwhelming. They exported the hatred to NYC, Madrid, and London. They are issuing new threats to make further attacks if we do not leave the Shiite country of Iraq. They are blowing up innocent Shia Muslims in Iraq. It's getting time to take out OBL. We need to crush the safe havens of the terrorists. We need to arrest the bankers that finance the illegal transactions. If we are going to have to deal with more attacks, we might as well blow OBL from here to kingdome come. It's time to get real. No more apologies.
