There is a place for people like Tancredo in the hearts of the American people and we have created a special place for housing of such people. We affectionately refer to it as GITMO.

The people we are battling, willing to blow themselves and innocents up without compunction...does the good Congressman think that talk such as his would deter them? If the U.S. responded to an attack orchestrated by hundreds of evil terrorists by bombing a religious site and killing thousands (hundreds of thousands?) of non-combatants, thereby creating a form of martyrdom never before seen, would this not serve the ultimate goal of the terrorists? In such a game of chicken, does the good Congressman really want the U.S. to be the one having to make a decision to destroy a religious holy city?

Hey, what if the next step is for the terrorists to say that if the U.S. does not leave Iraq St. Peter's square will be atomized?

A Republican? Oh please let this guy run for the Presidency in 2008.

What is he, 13 years old? If anyone sets off multiple nuclear attacks in American cities I do believe that bombing Islamic holy sites will be first on the government's list of things to do.
