I am not sure which one you mean. Maybe you can provide a link? My observation at this point is that we are contaminating the discussion with other issues and that blocks progress.

The original assumptions are: 1) Human beings are naturally endowed with rights, 2) We are able to discern what a human being is.

So far, among the few participants here, we have not been able to support the original assumptions as factual or rational, in the sense that sound reasoning may bring agreement among our group. Especially in the case of the second assumption. We have not even argued the qualities of natural rights which should be the follow up of coming to agreement on what a human being is.

The other discussion has to do with managing human populations. This brings in a whole range of issues having to do with morality, economics, practicality, etc.
