When my boys reached the level where they were playing high school baseball, somewhat smarter heads prevailed about what was being given to the players on hot days and in the middle of games. enlighten me please... why is it that base ball players wear these incredibly hot (looking at least) uniforms, long sleeve, long pants even double layered uniforms in the middle of blazing sun filled days.... instead of say.... shorts... is there a macho thing here or what is it...? and i am serious, i played soccer all my life so i know little about base ball, and every time i watched a base ball game, i thought they were insane wearing those uniforms....
