Isn't it going to be difficult for Senators who voted FOR his confirmation in 2003 to vote against him now? Personally I think the choice was brilliant from that perspective. I need to examine his stance on an individual right to keep and bear arms.

Roberts seems to have everything Bush said he was looking for all along. Young, intelligent, strict Constitutionalist. I think he will bring a whole new blood into the Supreme Court. If Bush gets a chance to get another one like him in there the Supreme Court is going to be something we can all be very proud of. jdn

Rehnquist will be harder to replace than O'Conner, but it is important Bush does not compromise.
