Something about the Editor and Publisher report does not seem right. I will note it for further analysis.

There are many important questions. One is how many studies have been buried? The nature of the studies highlighted by mrc are focused on each election. IMO you cannot compare the votes of urinalists between the 2000 and 2004 elections fairly (or any other two). They were probably very similar, but the data belong in different data sets. It is difficult to imagine comparing a longer time period for that type of research. this is probably why the same researchers felt it necessary to repeat the research for several election cycles.

Just for reference, during the palace revolt of the fourteen Senate Scoundrels Fox kept referring to the ten honorable and qualified nominees being held up for Appellate Court confirmation as "controversial". It actually appeared to be liberal/Democrat labeling bias. So much for fair and balanced. At no time in their news segments did I observe Fox referring to the hostages by any labels preferred by conservatives. A liberal would see the same segment and never even notice the bias, because they have the same bias.
