Precisely. And it was not until 1973, 184 years after the Constitution took effect, that they suddenly "discovered" that right. Did it not exist prior to that or did the Court err for 184 years? Think maybe the Women's Liberation Movement helped them "discover" it? Combined with medical advances that made the procedure much safer, likely.

But how does a "right of privacy" translate to an a right to abortion on demand? Because discussions between a doctor and a patient are privileged? Then why is the use of medical marijuana illegal according to the Feds? Why is it not protected by that same right? And why is assisted suicide also not protected?

It would appear that your right to discuss an action with a doctor does not extend to his right to take action on that discussion.
