well...

i am not sure about your assessment of tennis....

if you say cycling... yes i agree... but i can think a few other sports that would be far more demanding than tennis...

i mean... they are really not running all the time... at some point they stop take their breath.... i would equate it to fencing....

i can think of many sports... rowing, cross country running (part of modern penthatlon and decathlon).... even mountain climbing that woud require a higher degree of physical demand than tennis....

perhaps i have a misconception of the game, but i certainly would not rate it very high on the list.... cycling on the other hand i would...

i mean i can easily see the tour de france being demanding and exciting... the french open....(tennis) not for me....
