Good point! They (the ppt) has been pumping like hell since the London bombings, same as the Bank of England. The feeling I get is they are continuing to do this in anticipation of the next series of terrorist events, and in the meantime they don't want the shopping public to understand just how high the odds are of this happening here in the US.
