I think Bernie was 80 a while ago. I'm sure I remember him being 78 about 2002 or 2003 or even 2001.

I feel sorry for him in a way that his last great project turned into nothing but a shambles. But the leader is the one to blame, so he just has to wear it.

They should have ditched their stupid high-priced minutes failure plan in 1999 or at the latest in 2000 when it was obviously going to fail. Iridium had already proven that $5 a minute with $2000 phones wouldn't sell. There was no need to jump over the cliff too.

It's amazing how much carnage a bit of bloody-mindedness can cause.
