I accept that. They voluntarily acquiesce to live a compromised life. When they have a choice to terminate that terrible compromise (although it almost always means the risk of death for one or both)--they generally take it.

The limitations on their rights is defined by circumstance. If one of the two is substantially less "sentient" than the other and the sentient twin is able to express self interest without opposition, then the one unable to express (or to hold)a sentient interest will be surgically removed.

It is not human DNA that we value. It is the the heart and the mind--sentience, awareness, and compassion.
