Communist is just extreme socialism. There is nothing inherently immoral in either. Your charity is a fine idea. I'd rather help criminals, though, as there is no shortage of people who want to help babies (they are much cuter).

That is an excellent idea but I bet if people like trade were given the option of assigning 10% of their income to help mothers forced to carry a pregnancy to full term they would quickly change their minds. They would rather see extreme penalties for girls and women forced to have back-alley abortions. It as after all much cheaper to hang or electrocute the woman than do something meaningful.
