I remember as a kid in no. WI, one of my duties was to go find the cows and bring them to the barn for afternoon milking. One of the places I went was thru a small forest area. I came upon a dead animal which was the size of a skunk, but opposite color... all white with a black stripe. I thought I had found a new variety of skunk, but when my excitement died down and time passed, it turned out to be something else. The nearest I ever came up with was perhaps a half-grown Wolverine, but never found out for sure. Anybody have a better idea than me as a 10-year old? I don't know what could have killed a Wolverine as they have a rep as a very mean crittur when cornered, sorta like a raccoon on meth. Unless it could have been the residents of a foxes den in the area. I just don't know. ;(
