Schumer was one of three I believe who voted against Roberts in 2003. He didn't like the fact that Roberts was evasive and flat out refused to answer questions. He says that this time, the stakes are higher, he expects a whole lot better. If Freakonomics is correct, the red states might be seeing a big uptick in violent crime a few decades from now. Frankly, the Dems should give Roberts a huge grilling just to send a message to the WH: don't mess with us, thank you very much.
