<<Tell me why you don't think Cornell has a real ag department, so I can understand what is wrong with them, and which universities you think do, so I can do some research on the subject.>>

Cornell has a fine ag department 60 miles from it's campus. They teach about wine, beer and cider making, apple and cold-hardy grapes and selected seed-propagated crops, such as onion, garlic, broccoli, cabbage and winter squash.

Now if you want ag departments that study corn and beans try the Universities of Iowa and Illinois. The University of Illinois has a veternarian school as part of their ag department and it's harder to get into than Harvard Medical School. BTW, Illinois State University has a 300 acre farm where all they grow is weeds to study weed control.
