I had read the same thing that your friends in the Netherlands said--that people are afraid to speak up in public after the Van Gogh murder. That is understandable, but exactly the wrong response. It is a very scary situation, and there may already be too many millions of Muslims in Europe for there to be any clear way out of this. Have your friends in the Netherlands said what they think will happen in the near future in their society regarding this situation? Homosexuals, people who stray from their marriages, women who have had premarital sex--all of these huge groups of people are at risk of being stoned to death in Muslim countries, and in Europe there are apparently lots of honor killings in the Muslim community as well. It's really sickening.
