I met her too. Had a fundraiser for her in my town in 2004. Recalled to her the walk to the Senate she took with a group of Congresswomen during Clarence Thomas' confirmation hearings. Talking with her, you could tell that there were sharp differences between her and Feinstein's philosophies. Anyway looks like there is not much of a opposition to Roberts from the Dems for now.
