re:I lived in Japan for five years from '87 to '92, never made the hop over to SK though.

I was in SK from 89-97, they talked about moving us to Okinawa a few times so we'd survive the first wave and provide support in a war - I kept wishing, but they never did. Went to Okinawa (Camp Lester Navy Hospital) for my twins birth in 93 - the only neonatal intensive care unit in the region. Stayed at Kadena Air Base - nice golf course they got there. Funniest thing was the North Korean owned Pachinko parlour outside the main gate that allegedly spys on the base.

What were you doing in Japan?
