I agree. But I also believe that the borders of Iraq are highly artificial (draw up one afternoon over many drinks by Churchill and 'Lawrence of Arabia' in an effort to come up with an unstable, internally divided configuration that would be easy for the British colonialists to 'rule'... an effort which proved unsuccessful). And that the likeliest outcome is a partition to end the civil war... resulting in a Shi'a state, a Kurdish state, and a Sunni area affiliated with Saudi Arabia, Syria, or Jordan.
