For the folks who think in terms of "good" and "evil", I'm not saying it's "good" that some folks in the ME feel that way. I'm only saying it's very clear that they do. And since they feel that way they feel they have reasons (and indeed they obviously feel their reasons justify their actions, but I do not happen to agree with that). I'm also not saying it's "right" that they think of Israel as an invader, or that it's "good" to want the destruction of Israel. But ignoring the fact that folks in the ME truly believe (as strongly as people here believe the stuff they believe) that they have political grievances worth dying for seems to be part of the problem, and not part of the solution. However, discussing reasons with people who see "reasons" as equivalent to "excuses" is just pointless.
