if I had to buy now I would probably buy yahoo.
But yahoo and goog are 2 totally different businesses, yahoo is media and GOOG is software to compete with microsoft. Since I think microsoft is vulnerable, to me GOOG has more potential. Just roughly if msft is the most valuable tech company, and I see goog moving to that slot (I really do) then it means, theoretically that GOOG could achieve MSFT valuation of over 250 billion (much higher when they were a grower like GOOG is a grower now). Media companies almost never get that high.

If you like the net sector check out time warner also. And Interactive corp.

btw tech is going to rally for the next 6 mos, don't be a bear here KG4. I can tell, because all my employees from jobs past where they were laid off got jobs, in the last 2 mos. Business picking up. Chips are telling us that.
