Begala never said or meant that ant you know it. Anymore than Bush meant that he's trying his hardest to hurt this country. Of course in Bush's gaffe there is a grain of truth. Let me ask you this. If Bush-Cheney had deliberately tried to hurt the USA starting in 2000, could they have done a much better job than they have? - Trillions in new deficits - Most people more insecure - The nation divded like never before - The US less popular and trusted than ever - A quagmire war in Iraq - More terrorism - The rich richer, everyone else lucky to hang on - Very little truth or balance in government - Corruption rampant - Assaults on our environment etc.
