I do remember that it opened up in Kirkland as Price/Costco, and that Price was the originator of the warehouse concept. I think we even had a Price warehouse, and a few other obscure warehouse clubs, before Costco came along and gobbled them all up.

I find it frustrating that Seattle can have such innovative entrepreneurs (msft, boeing, costco)that improve the lot of average people,(leaving out the grunge movement -gg-), and such divisive and monopolistic politicians.

Hmmmmmm did I just make a freudian connection?
