You're right. If they weren't so incompetent they could have taken over the whole world by now. But what can one expect from barbarians? As you say, they can have every conceivable weapon, untold hordes of fanatics ready to die for Allah and billions upon billions of dollars stashed away in invisible bank accounts all over the world -- and they all they can do kill and injure as many people as are killed and injured on the roads of South Africa every week-end in the summer holidays.

But we can count our lucky stars we have guys like W and Tony inspiring us with their Churchillian speeches, making draconian laws to protect us and looking after our financial interests by seeing that enough money is being printed.

BTW, it looks like the dollar wants to go weaker. Note the droopy MACD.
