Bush knows exactly who's guilty and knew two years ago. He's hoping they get off on technicalities, that's all. But this time, he can't fix the ballot box. This guy Fitzgerald seems like nobody's fool. He might just really stick it to the Bushies.

Expect Rovegate to re-take the front pages soon. This Roberts nomination is a non-story.

Will the Patriot Act come home to get a bite of Karl Rove?

Just watched John McCain on Hardball with Chris Matthews. This Republican Senator who was ridiculed by Bush in the 2000 primary campaign is pathetic. He supports Bush and Rove. "Let's not forget that Karl Rove must be presumed innocent until proven otherwise."

All Republicans are faced with this question:

Where do you place your loyalty?

Is it to the United States of America or is it to Bush and Cheney?

Unfortunately there are a good number of Republicans who belong to the latter group.
