Kerry served two tours of duty and went where he was ordered to go, like all soldiers. He is one of the few to win a Silver and Bronze star plus three Purple Hearts. He then went home to an equally important war, the fight to end that godawful war which cost 55,000 American lives. Bush and Cheney dodged the draft, Bush wasting $1,000,000 in Air Guard training before bailing out, going AWOl and not fulfilling his duties. Cheney, Delay, Rove, Limbaugh all dodged the draft. Not a single major rightwing leader has ever served in combat.
