they are also very strictly territorial: we visit lemmings garden in south NJ, a garden of the colonial era. Featuring in this garden including three pair hummingbirds, each of them has
their own territory (few hundreds feet apart ) with their own favorite flower trees and plants. Visitors can sit at bench and watch them busy feeding themselves over hedge of flowers

I've got some "pet" chickadees and purple finches in my birdhouses. The baby chickadees are quite cute also, and very trusting. They will up to my feeder even with me sitting just a few feet away.
