I agree completely. i think what you will also find, looking at the historical record, is that reality can snap back with a vengeance, so that just a few short years from now, people will wonder about today's bond bulls: What were they thinking?

You guys are starting to sound like Jim Grant. He thinks we entered a bond bear market in 2003 - and that it will probably last for 10 or 20 years.

The rampant bond bullishness at generation low interest rates mirrors exactly the rampant bond pessimism 20 years ago when TNX yields were double digit.

Back then bonds were called "certificates of confiscation."
