The only problem with using the stealthy methods employed by the liberals is that it takes a sort of long term plan that conservatives do not possess. Conservatives like direct action and are impatient. That may be a problem.

In case there is any misunderstanding, I am simply suggesting that people with a conservative mindset start training to be teachers, compete for teaching jobs, get tenure in them, and teach away.

Older people like Jaime Escalante http://reason.com/0207/fe.jj.stand.shtml might be best for this because with a considerable life experience they will be able to see through the liberal slant they are sure to get at teacher's college. Eventually, they should go after those jobs as well.

Conservatives should get on school boards and on the PTA to influence the curriculum, not just to cut property taxes. They should get on school boards for the children's benefit, not their own.

Patience is an essential virtue for this method.

I am not qualified to judge others on this subject, since I have no intention of doing this myself owing to my life priorities. However, dedicated conservatives should consider it.
