Boy that's a long shot if I ever saw one!

I saw six at my niece's house in CA a couple of weeks ago. I'm guessing people in Oregon shoot them.

Chickadees are real easy to recognize. They are named after their call. Chick a dee dee dee dee dee. I live in the Seattle area. I don't know what their range of habitat is.
