The thing is, Cheney ISN'T the CEO of Halliburton, has no reason to profit if they profit, no reason to make his successor look good by sending business his way, and the "no bidding" aspect WAS part of the contract put through under CLINTON. You offer a pipe dream scenario for Democrats, but no real demon and no real evidence of one. If Halliburton cooked books or falsely created charges for nothing, let's get 'em. The rest of your concerns are based in the stuff of the dreams you keep having, it seems to me. Dan B.
