amy,

re:
I believe that is a biased statement against those modern men that prefer more involvement with their children, because you presume there will never be many of them interested in staying at home as women.

You sound unaware of the bias against Dad's that want to be more involved in their children's lives. Pretending things are peachy, blocks the solution. With awareness better solutions will be created.

How many kids do you have Amy?

I'm plenty aware and have made my assertion based on the evidence I gathered from talking to my kids parents from the school my kids attend. I was surprised the number of Mother's that either never went to work or have opted to leave the work force to raise kids. Many plan to re-enter the work force when their kids are older.

The only one expressing any bias is you to actually have the nerve to assume they are forced and did not choose to stay home - what a narrow minded opinion you have to think that raising kids is somehow a vision less path or lesser choice.
