Grow up. Honesty and ethics are extremely important to the well-being of this country. Partisan loyalty to a fault is something which causes tremendous problems in a democracy. It's every citizen's responsibility to do what's best for the whole country, not just a few partisan chiselers whom he/she happens to have backed and therefore feels invested in.

We all know no politician is perfect, especially a scoundrel like GW who got to where he is by using his last name and letting himself be handled and financed by others. But when you lie to the American people about going to war and then screw up or get caught you either have to step down (like LBJ did) or suffer the consequences.

Nixon beat McGovern by 20% and resigned about two years later. The real crime was the coverup and the lies, not just the illegal dirty tricks.

It's also time for you and your fellow partisans to confess that Rove's smear campaigns are 100% BS, even if they've worked. And that Kerry would have made a far wiser and more honest commander in chief.

Good Job Tonto, well said. The left's crimes need go to Court too, to the chagrin of many. This guy, a true believer, can't accept the same for the right. He'll think the left doesn't have crimes which are "glaringly obvious." Even if we know we may sometimes be mistaken about the crimes of either side, some just don't accept the fallible nature of themselves as humans, instead they like to feel events must certainly always fit their world-view, and they MUST be right (even before there is known substantial evidence. That's what we have here indeed, and quite possibly the lack of convincing evidence is because Rove is innocent).
