1) APM was a Tier-1 auto industry supply company that was forced into bankruptcy.
2) ACHI was the high bidder to acquire APM from the courts.
3) A major chunk of APM's business "went away" during the arse-dragging bankrupcty process.
4) Item 3 changed the value dynamic of APM for ACHI since the sales/income dropped significantly (..not practical anymore..).
5) ACHI's acquiring of KSI became more viable, and is being actively pursued to fruition.
6) The principles of APM, with their myriad of insider contacts, may pursue a continuing relationship with ACHI - since they lost their company.

No big mystery apparently..!!! Circumstances can change by the day in the Auto industry.
