If he jumped a turnstile and was wearing a large winter coat, then YES I am happy he will never be questioned....

The one report you referenced indicated that he had already been stopped by the police and under control before he was shot. I don't know whether that's true or not. I expect over time, I will know.

I see your degree is in math.....did you miss Logic 101?

No, I didn't. I know that eyewitness information is notoriously unreliable and initial reports are frequently wrong in a number of details. Some relevant, some not. I know that over a period of time, that the incorrect information will sort it's way out.

So far this morning...

The police have confirmed that there was no bomb; no bomb belt; no wires hanging out.

The winter coat has been downgraded to a padded coat. Didn't check the weather in London yesterday but looking at the satellite imagery, it looks like it would be pretty close to the forecast for today ... at the moment... 58-69F; rain.

Police have confirmed that he wasn't one of the 4 bombers they were looking for.

The individual had left a house that was under surveillance by the police. [Make a note to yourself: never enter/leave a house that is under police surveillance.]

The police chasing him with guns were plainsclothes police. [I'm not quite sure what I would do if a bunch of guys were running at me with guns yelling at me to stop. Of course, I don't really know that the individual could speak English; probably did, but I don't know since London is a heavy tourist area. Heck, there's a few shops I've gone into in Maryland, USA where none of the employees speak English.]

The picture is still fuzzy as to whether he was under control/subdued at the moment of the shooting.

I see your degree is in math.....did you miss Logic 101?

How are you and I doing on our logic so far?

The police have confirmed that there was no bomb; no bomb belt; no wires hanging out.

The winter coat has been downgraded to a padded coat. Addition: Which is now described as a padded blue fleece jacket. [Didn't check the weather in London yesterday but looking at the satellite imagery, it looks like it would be pretty close to the forecast for today ... at the moment... 58-69F; rain.]

Addition: He was wearing a baseball cap which made him hard to identify. [Make a note to yourself: Don't wear a baseball cap.]

Police have confirmed that he wasn't one of the 4 bombers they were looking for; Addition: he was an electrician from Brazil going to work.

The individual had left a house that was under surveillance by the police. Change The individual had left a block/apartment complex that was under surveillance. [Make a note to yourself...never enter/leave an aparment comlex that is under surveillance.]

The police chasing him with guns were plainsclothes police. [I'm not quite sure what I would do if a bunch of guys were running at me with guns yelling at me to stop. Addition: Plainsclothes police yelled at him to stop, but none of the witnesses reported hearing any warning.

The picture is still fuzzy as to whether he was under control/subdued at the moment of the shooting. Addition: He fell to the ground looking like a frightened rabbit; officers pushed him to the floor and another officer pumped five bullets to the head.

Nice photo of the electrician and what appears to be his father, grandmother, and either sister or girlfriend.
