<<Last night I had a solicitation call from a law enforcement league of some kind. I asked how they got my name since I'm on the Do Not Call Registry. Answer, it doesn't apply to charitable organizations.>>

The ones I get start off by saying their not asking for money. It's the mail your neighbors thing which will also be asking money from me.

Last year I got a call from Sgt. somebody who was supposed to be out of State Police unit 5 in Pontiac. Raising money for car seats for kids. Pontiac is the home to unit 2. I emailed the State Police but never heard back.

True. Charitable organizations and political ones can still call.
