The EU constitution looks like it could be in trouble. That's what happens when states are semi-sovereign I guess.

"The Constitution and law adopted by the Union institutions in exercising competence conferred upon it by the Constitution shall have primacy over the law of the member states."

Loose construction of that clause should make any citizen of a member country as nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs.
