The H5N1 at Qinghai lake is sensitive to Amantadine and Rimantadine (as well as Tamiflu). Right now reports coming out of China suggest a pandemic may be raging with resistance to the miliary enforcement of quarantine.

Thus, at this time, the likelihood of spread by this virus is high, since it is already snowing there and birds should be heading for Europe, India, and eastern China where there are lots of birds and people (Qinghai Lake is sparsely populated with people but lots of migrating birds)
