My guess is that every thinking person in America could come up with an important landmark that would make symbolic target for terrorism -- but the Brooklyn Bridge?

Most of these symbolic targets have greater importance to the imaginer than to the rest of the world. Immediately after 9/11 people were arguing about what was a likely target. Curiously, most picked something in their own neighborhood.

So, no, not the Brooklyn Bridge. Obviously, he loves it, but the rest of the world doesn't care enough to make it a viable target.
