re: The way you said it Ohio sounded like it was a nationality. They practically are - pennsylvania dutch they claimed. That makes sense.....a lot of them settled in PA and OH. Aren't the PA Deutch originally Swiss? You should do a tree some time.......see from where in Switzerland. I helped rebuild a castle in Switzerland for part of a summer....its a great place. Supposedly the castle had graffiti from the 11th or 12th century.......I don't know if it was a joke or not. Something was carved in the wood......I think maybe in Latin and dated from back them. My Swiss friends swore it was legitimate but I didn't trust them on stuff like that. <g>
