That is not the point. The point is that Rover, as a company, has NEVER EVER made any money. Whoever owns it, will have to lose millions, if not billions.

Brand name may mean something for foreigners, not mean much for Chinese. Since most of Chinese can only afford to buy cheaper domestic name cars.

In case anyone still do not realize, China is NOT a country can develop private cars like the US, period! There is simply no enough space.

BTW, even the quality of Mercedes is pretty bad now. I heard MG is so-so quality too.
